My podcast is going to center around high school bowling. It is going to cover the season, rules, and practices. Mostly it is going to be based on my own personal experience. The rules and season I am going to get off line because the rules change a little every year, and the season seems to get later every year.
My main focus with the rules is going to be the differences between a school league and an adult league. Adult leagues can wear what ever they want where as school leagues have a very strict dress code that all bowlers and coaches must follow. Also with the dress code, in adult league you can wear jewelry, and in school leagues you are allowed one wrist watch, one ring per hand, one stud earing per ear, and that is is. No necklaces,nose rings, tongue rings, multiple ear piercings, ect.
Practices are different as well because in high school you have to practice twice a week,but its free and in adult league if you want to practice you have to do it on your own time, and you have to pay for it.

I like your proposal. I think that if the school has enough people to make the team then they should make it a team. When I was in high school my soccer team was not recognized as a school team but as a club. That school did not belive that soccer was a sport because they were too worried about their football team (Which by the way lost most of the games and didn't go anywhere).
i think it'll be a fun podcast, you know a lot about bowling and what the rules are and such so it will be very knowledgeable.
I didn't even know that bowling was a high school sport. I missed out. But I have cousins that would be interested. I can't wait to listen to your podcast and let them know what I found out.
I think that you have a good topic to go off of. It is something that you care alot about and that you can bring light to for other people. You can spread your passion through a voice and not just a paper that people have to read! I personally know what its like to not be considered a sport, I was a cheerleader for a long time and was never recognized. Share your knowledge and passion for bowling and you will have plenty of people that will listen!
I think your proposal is pretty cool topic to talk about and to make ppl aware that bowling is a sport in high school which doesnt get any credit like football and basketball. Hope to get alot out of your podcast....
Bowling would have been one of the few sports I would have even considered doing in high school. I think getting the knowledge out there is definately a good idea.
